Run/Bike Events Rendlesham

 

After careful consideration we will not be staging a Run/Bike Event in Rendlesham Forest this year due to the difficulty of getting sufficient volunteers to safely run the event. We hope to be able to bring an event back to Rendlesham in the future.

Event details - Rendlesham Forest Challenge

Format
Teams of two. One runs one cycles. You can swap as often as you like or not at all. You must stay within 10 metres of one another and cross the finishing line together.
Course

The course will be staged over good quality forest trails in the Rendlesham Forest. The start will be from the Rendlesham Forest Centre, just off the B1084 Woodbridge to Orford Road (OS Grid ref TM35314850). The event will be a two lap race of seven miles each with runners covering approximately 2/3 of a mile in a small loop before before picking up their team mate at the start area.
